I expect 2 weeks as head high

He does not seem to look at Selwood, but does change direction. He hit front on so not the same as clumsily hitting him.

    Probably incidental/ negligent

Quite often - do you ever notice?

Goodes took a dive. So did Buchy apparently in the fourth quarter. Real "spirit of the bloods" stuff. I also thought Goodes' bump was intentional.

I think Goodes has been guilty of pulling this crap more in the past than recently, so it was disappointing to see it creeping back into his game tonight. Give him a week or two for the dive, rather than the bump I say!
        That about sums it up.

My thoughts exactly. Some people are glass half empty types I guess.

Not dissimilar to Kerr vs Bulldogs. When he headbutted Scott West.

I dont think WC have any right to be outraged about the 'disgusting treatment' of their ball winner when they use the same tactics. Goodes got scragged and bumped from every direction, then seemed to deliberately line up Selwood out of frustration/retribution.

Mind you that case isn't all that relevant - Kerr has got off more charges than Goodes at the tribunal. I'm not sure how many points he has carried over - but I'd say 2-3 weeks.

Of course it was intentional he was trying to bump him.

Got him high from the side, slight contact worth a week with his prior's.

Swans players were targeted off the ball before the first bounce, and it rattled them. Trouble is, West Coast continued to play that way and forgot what actually gave them the lead in the first place.

Hope there's a few reports out of this game actually, but I can't see it happening.

Yeah Derrrr ROK . Most people today forget what football is unfortunately. This is all thanks to the fat controller's sanitisation of the game. It was an intentional bump that got him head high and deserves one week only imho.

Whether or not Swans players were being targeted (and whilst West Coast did appear to be acting like they had a point to prove I don't recall seeing anything overly out of line, or out of the ordinary) is relatively irrelevant in regards to Adam taking a dive.

Watching the telecast and seeing Adam's initial reaction I was both livid and concerned, considering the subsequent replay appeared to show he was barely (if at all) touched by the West Coast player suggests he did put on a pretty good show of trying to milk something. If the excuse that he was trying to milk something was to bring attention to the plight of the targeted Swan, what does he think of his own hit? It was certainly a lot worse than anything we saw from the Weagles (in/behind/before/during play) in the game.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline

A question only vaguely related to this thread - in the 4th quarter it looked like Buchy took a dive at one point, but then a couple mins later he was off the ground with blood on his face where he would have been hit in that dive. Did he get hurt in a later contest or did he actually get hit before he went down "like a sack of ****" to quote one of the commentators?

No, the dive was the result of a "hit" to the guts. The hit to the face happened later.

The "dog" was brilliant again for us last night - we'll struggle without and I for one would prefer to have him in the team. Not sure where the "dive" accusation comes from either - there was clearly contact.

TBH I only saw it replayed the once - apparently others have questioned it so I'll reserve judgment till I see it again.
