I don't think with the style that we play off the half-back line requires much sheperding to be honest. Only when we start over-using the ball in the corridor and we find that the pressure is on that the sheperding of the ball becomes accountable but the backline has been creating space for each other for a long time now and so it's all a matter of getting rid of the ball before getting tackled rather than giving the player with the pill a longer period of time to dispose of it. Out with speed, pace and the right option is the way!
