Spida is not firing at the moment.....and we will not win a GF unless he does...the other ruckmen are raising their knee and he isn't jumping high enough...maybe he needs to adopt the same tactic....he can win games for us and as the last line of defence save us.....good big men are hard to find. Jolly doesn't measure up as a ruckman but he is a useful tall.

Spida will however jump a lot higher than King and Gardiner, who since he left the WCE doesn't appear to have been high much at all.

Cox will beat anyone in the ruck as he did last week, but I thought I heard a commentator say recently Jolly was the second most in form ruckman going around.

Am i missing something or did i think Spida played his best game of year for us on Saturday Night? His last quarter especially was magnificent.

Bit bemused by the talk of dropping him if he is not injured. He is most definitely in our best 22.

Oh yes he did. His work in the backline in the second half was very good. And I seem to remember a deft tap to MCVeigh for a goal.

Interesting bloke Gardiner: He had a fairly quick lead at the Eagles, almost as if he had something propelling him. Strange stuff in the water over there.
