Bit bemused by the talk of dropping him if he is not injured. He is most definitely in our best 22.
He is in doubt with a tight hamstring.

I thought he went off in the last quarter and didn't return?

Daily Terror reports that Tadhg also trained lightly yesterday.

Someone above said that he'd have to be close to being 'omitted'?

I thought he played a major part in getting us over the line on Saturday night.

He's only playing half of each game at most, gets a handful of touches and only a few hitouts. I think another player could do far more.

Thanks Plugger. My response was in reference to the omitted comment.

Spida saved our bacon as the spare man in defense during a couple of inside 50s from the Weagles in the last quarter. And also set up the 2nd Bevan goal by breaking 2 tackles, handballing out to Jude who then found Bevan.

And the deft tap on the ground, 15 metres out from goal in the 2nd qtr to McVeigh (I think) for a goal.

Everitt is now playing the role Ball played in 2005. Not a lot of game time compared to Jolly but very proficient tap work and gets to the right spots.

Jolly has improved 100% from 2005 and is one of the better all round ruckman going around.

Only reason Everitt will be omitted is due to injury.

I don't think Davis will be coming in. He's done well in the reserves and still been ignored, and by all reports he was unremarkable in the last game.

                      Changes For St Kilda Game

What changes if any for this weeks game? Hall will come in surely, probably for Spida. Barlow struggled he would have to go, I think Bird was very unlucky to go and we def missed his skill of picking up the ball in a pack without fumbling. Any thoughts?

                        In: Hall
                        Out: Everitt

                        Is one possibility.

Another change could see In: Bird, Out: Barlow.

Would need Bird to come back in if it is going to be pissing down. Definitely a wet weather player which could give us the edge.

Perhaps Schmidt may be a chance if they don't want to go with Bird.

Hope Bird is back, 16 disposals and two goals from 60% game time in his last game (and could have been three goals if the 3/4 siren went a second later). And im going to the game with his old man so would be good to see him out there.
