Heard a Melbourne fan ask Neale Daniher precisely why they let Jolly go at Dees 2007 season launch function. He answered thus (he was coach at that time obviously) that Jolly wanted to be first ruck and that was White, he felt Jolly would leave the following year (he had 1 left on his contract) and by trading him they would at least get something, and they had Jamar as a backup. He also mentioned they got Dunn for the pick.

      Thanks Rob....

Though I think it's clear that we did much better out of the deal....

And hasn't Jeff White slipped from when he was probably No.1 to.... Well I don't know what....

I don't want to appear too negative, but in the last 9 rounds, it may be wise not to take him on the road until the finals.

This would then leave us exposed in the ruck or down back, depending on what they decide with LRT. Means that Ted (who is in good form) will have specific duties to man up.

Also, Jolls up against his old master and for the first time, he goes in as clearly the better ruck-rover than Jeff White.
Don't reckon he was that bad since he came back. I prefer to look at the "cup half full" angle in that he will be pretty fresh when he does come back, probably after the bye. This is more likely to get him through the season and against ruckmen who are feeling the pinch late in the season. If he doesn't come up then Roosey deals with it then.

We'll be easy to spot. Annie will be the one blushing and batting her eyelashes at Goodsey when he comes to the bench.

Many thanks to you and Annie for being so welcoming. I'm currently battling with Ticketmaster and having trouble finding any seats in Bay 28! If we do end up anywhere near you, we will make ourselves known to you!

I'm all for bizarre trades. The Swans footy department are very good at it. Teddy, Craig, Jolls, BBB, and even Spida, Davo and Brennan. OK, maybe Brennan isn't the greatest trade - yet - and maybe he can't kick in the direction he wants the ball to go, but its fun watching him having a go. Great hands tho.

Don't you just love the squirming going on at various other clubs when these names are mentioned? However I have a feeling we may be in the same boat soon as some of the boys in waiting, are just doing that. Waiting. Can't see all of them sitting there forever. A couple will ask to move onwards and upwards next year I am sure.

I hope the Melbourne game is played out for 4 quarters, and that no quarter is given. I'll be sitting in the sun (I trust) and helping to bring them on home.

Now there is a diverse bunch of supporters. So Al, when you and Annie are together at a game is it a competition as to who can be the most animated?and is GS14 there to calm you both down?
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

I got the tickets a few weeks ago and just kept hitting "best possible" till I got Bay 28.

No probs Sid ... you'll recognise us - Big Al & the irreverend GoSwannies14 will be the ones swearing at the maggots.

Yeah, it could get interesting. Don't discount the fact the GS14 could be the one that out does us all.. There's a Melbourne supporter still in therapy from GS's last trip to Canberra.

However I will come & say hello if its possible .......Now my project is to attend training, does anyone know how I find out about it?
