Nothing strange in that but he just seemed to be taking it all in. Perhaps for the last time? I've never seen him do that before. I've seen him clap the crowd plenty of times but the look on his face and his deliberate movements to get to all of us is something I don't recall him ever doing before.

I guess time will tell whether I'm reading too much into it. It certainly made me get a little teary
I noticed it and read it exactly as you did BB.

I just watched a replay and noticed BBBH give him a warmer than usual 'hug' near the players race as well.

Perhaps an announcement this week ?

In fact, in light that this is definately our last home game of the year, I hope the club comes out this week and announces any players that have decided to hang up the boots so we can send them out with a thank you.

That was pretty much in front of us, Leo didn't really know what to do and looked relieved when the physio arrived. I was sitting with two 3rd year medical students who were aghast at that and couldn't believe Tadhg continued playing.
      Bring it on!

I was cursing Leo after that and telling him to get the fleck away.

In every other instance of Tadhg 'popping' his shoulder this year, Gibbs has just run out, popped it in and Tadhg has just continued as if nothing happened. This time after it was eventually popped in after Leo's unsuccessful attempt, he had to leave the field. I was thinking if Leo's backyard job had done some damage, then

A good win in a scrappy game. Vespa & Moore were brilliant and I think they will be the foundation for the future of the club.

The only dissapointing thing is that I won't be able to attend the final next week as I have to go to a wedding out of town on Saturday.

The way he was playing Leo was probably concerned at holding his place for the finals and tried to take the Irishman out.
