I'd be happy to see him in the red and white but I'm sure I'd be in the minority.

The way i see it, any last shot at a flag while we still have Hall, Kirk, MOL, Leo, and Kennelly in the side and Goodes / Jolly / B2 still at their peak should be pursued.

Even if we are keen, getting him in the PSD might be difficult given our likely late pick.

We'd need to offer him a contract that nobody else could match.
And the man who started it all, the Schneiderman . . . . .

I'd take him, he could be the difference between just another finals appearance and another flag.

I want him at the Swans. Now that he's not an Eagle I realise I don't actually hate him.

He's got another 4 very good years left in him, atleast.

Looking at it objectively, I think if the club was thinking like that, we'd have been better off chasing Travis Johnstone last year. I dont think we need him in that area either, we seem to have a few good young players coming through the midfield.

Johnstone isn't in the same class as Cousins. Also, we wouldn't need to give up anything for Cousins as he'll be in the pre season draft, whereas Brisbane had to give up a first round pick for Johnstone.

                  Case in point.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

He wasn't like Judd; Ben didn't drop the club like a sack of potatoes like Judd did when he saw Pratt's $$$.

I hope West Coast take him back if we have the chance.

They won't take him back. They couldn't help him back then and they can't help him now.

Isn't Port Melbourne our VFL team?
I remember Plugger playing with them (to regain match fitness) when he was still with the Swans late in his career.

It was, about 5 years ago. But we no longer have any ties with them, since moving to the ACT.
