I cant believe my eyes that some people are actually talking about trying to trade Kirky for Cuz.

Now i know you all must be on drugs because that will never ever happen.

People who entertain that idea are @@@@ing stupid.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

If neither were playing for the Swans, and both wanted to come to the Swans,, I'd choose Cousins.
But having said that, it would be very hard to convince me of a direct swap Kirk for Cousins.
What value do you place on everything else Kirk brings to the club?
He's be one player I'd consider 'untouchable'

They both have only slightly different temperaments, ideals and relaxation methods.

I would choose Kirky any day because he inspires the team where as Cuz just shares his drugs with them.

On Kirky being untouchable you IMO are 100% spot on.

how could you ever even contemplate trading Kirky! For a swans fan to say trade Kirky for DrugCuz, then you must not be a true supporter! He should be untouchable and should leave the club when he is ready- unlike other players currently that are past their used by date and dont konw when they should give it away, I reckon Kirky will go as soon as he knows the passion/ability to play at the top level would go. And if we traded him we'd lose the support of the Buddhists- surely that can only be a good thing having them on side Kirky is a bloods legend already and trading him should be absolutely out of the question.

And for those saying we should be trying to maximise our iopportunity for a flag, only need to take this year as evidence as to why we dont need to trade for an old washed up and probably now useless drug cheat. If you look at our vastly improved season so far, one of the outstanding factors is the intergration of Jack, Moore and to a lesser extent Bird into the first team. Their youthful exuberance have no end helped reshape our team and their influence overall is growing imo every weekend. I would argue that that has had a far bigger influence on potentially keeping our opportunity window open then trying to buy a washed up piuece of rubbish.

Another way to look at it- if we were to make another trade surely we should be looking to find someone like a Mattner (Not type of player but age etc)- who looks as though he will give high quality service to the club (And IMO his combo with Mal and the irishman are key to our hopes this year) for lots of years to come rather then someone at the back end of his career.

And last but not least, he played for the West Coke Eagles. With the exception of Judd or Cox, there is noth another player Id ever want from that club playing in our team.

Awwww come on, we would all love to have Hunter running around in the R&W.

... only because it'll be soooooooooooooooo much easier for Blind Barry to lay in a few more punches on the side!!!

and he would have to practice it at training.

Leave Kirk out of it. There is no trade if we have pick 15 and Cousins is available, should we pick him.
On the basis of what Aka is doing at the bulldogs I would jump all over it

It's not like that though. Won't Cousins nominate for the pre-season draft rather than the national? He won't be available by our pick if that is the case.
