This thread has been one of my favourites for a while.

ROK Lobster will be pulling it out until every single premiership player from 2005 has retired or been traded as a means of pointing out that our current club culture is a failure.

To use another analogy, it's like pushing @@@@ up a hill!

I did not start it, or drag it out.

A failure ? Let's go live in Tigerland and get another perspective on things.

I'll go with that, the culture of the bloods brought us a flag, who can argue with that, Kirk and Bolts playing on in headgear with their heads split open, just go !!!!!!! No the culture is not a problem, and some new blood coming in, as long as we have good leadership ala Kirk, will bring continued success. If some of our young blokes stand up like they did against North,(Craig Bird's mark and goal a prime example) we will be ok in 2 years back in the hunt. We will have to find some talls, or manufacture them with Pyke, White, Orreal etc. Time to get moving on.

Looking back on it, I think my favourite part of the thread is that lobster was blamed for it
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Mine too. Why cannot anyone simply admit that Brett Kirk and Paul Roos are arrogant dickheads?

I can about Kirk, not sure about Roos.

He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

There's the whiff of sanctimony around Roos sometimes, nothing more. Dint see any signs of arrogance around Kirk.

GET OUT! Your not welcome here anymore. Thats not only a horrible comment but also sacrilege to the church of the swans.
