This game is going backwards. Position bibs replacing guernsey numbers
next. Had the MRP been around the likes of Jack Dyer and Leigh Mathews
wouldn't get a game through suspension. The hall of fame wouldn't have many occupants either. Five weeks, what a load of rubbish.

(Sorry haven't had time to read the previous four pages ....)

      No great loss.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Given form of the MRP hardly surprising.
I though Amon was much better agst Hawks.

Who will come in for Buchs??

It is a shame Fosdike got injured again I reckon he would have been raring to go to replace Buchs for the Carlton game but might be hindered by a niggling hamstring now.

            Barlow a chance?

A very very very strange decision (to take the 4 weeks) IMO. Hard to see how he could have done worse by contesting. Maybe as was earlier mentioned, an apparent impending baby had something to do with the Swans deciding he could take some leave from work?

It's worth noting that Buchanan towelled up all of the rest of the Swans' forwards (apart from the wonderful MOL) for contested grabs inside 50 on the weekend. Sure, his kicking mostly sucked until he found his range late in the game; but you've got to take the marks first.

I would have thought that Bucky's departure merely means that Smith gets to keep his place when Malceski comes back in.

Agree with that, and can only deduce recent comments by coach et. al. regarding previous leniency at the tribunal would make them look a little contradictorial if they took this to the tribunal for a downgrade. Makes it very tough then for Buchanan. Some big games in that 4, Crows, Dogs and Cats.

Joke! The MRP have lost the plot, that's if they had a plot to begin with.

What the @@@@ is going on? Now we are just accepting getting raped, like a bloke who's done his first month in the clink. Looking at the Geelong incidents, there are different sets of rules that apply to different clubs. I wonder if Lethal meant to bring on this amount of retribution when he talked about "protected species"? The follow up has been nothing short of hysterical!! Goodes gets every second week off because he keeps his feet in a contest! I'm sorry but that is how he plays, he runs through a pack and gathers the ball, or he misses, but he keeps his feet. Now Buchanan gets 4 weeks for an effing hip and shoulder??? We've given up on Barry Hall. Never mind that there are 2 umpires watching the play and one dedicated to watching Baz get held, niggled, whacked, pushed ready to blow the whistle when he farts in frustration!! Whilst up the other end, if our blokes lay body contact on in a marking contest they are effing tunnelling and should get 6 weeks. FFS Swans, cop a few Demetriou Super Contributions and effing SAY SOMETHING!!

Leigh Matthews has a lot to answer for.
