i have asked you to particularise that claim. You haven't so i take it you are just tired and emotional that the golden haired boy has exposed himself as an uncommitted member of the club. Which is precisely what i (and others) said about him some time ago. More egg on the same old faces.

I have previously. Every time you claim Nick is uncommitted to the club is slander - plain and simple. Given the knowledge of contract law you've tried to demonstrate I am surprised you don't recognise this.

There are other options. How about- a minimal grasp of contract employment law draws a conclusion that footballers who through their agents negotiate with opposition clubs and act in a dishonest way towards their employers, breach their contracts. From that conclusion, Brown's contract could be terminated if the Lions wished. The breach does not automatically terminate a contract. The Lions may waive their contractual rights and continue to employ him. Which they probably will. Is this getting too complicated. Given a previous statement from you which indicates you don't understand the relationship between libel, slander and defamation, it probably is.

i wrote that. Slander is spoken defamation. The statement that Davis is uncommitted to the club is fair comment and is not defamatory. Let go of this for goodness sake. Davis will not be with the club next season.

Your either think Brown should be sacked or not. I'm quite sure he won't be. The question is, why do you apply a different standard to Nick Davis...?

I am happy to agree that your claims against Nick Davis are libel rather than slander. Either way, you have absolutely no evidence to back up your claims that he is uncommitted to the club.

Simple. Both of them could be. Davis is on a one year contract and it won't be renewed. Given that he is injured and will not play again the club has clearly humanely decided to keep him on contract and he will recieve his payments. I don't quibble with that although i don't think duplicity should be condoned. In Brown's case he is a champion and contract breaches by champions are routinely waived by clubs e.g Cuz.

                    You'll be disappointed come October.

More likely the need for a game breaker

This embarrassing bickering must be a delight for non-Swans supporters to read.

                              Where's the beef?

You seem to be a very passionate supporter of the 'Bloods' variety - but lay the boot into Davis at every corner....did he make unwanted advances towards your daughter/relative??? are you yourself suffering a broken heart at the hands of the dark knight....did you hear through the grapevine that Davis slandered Paul "can't bowl, can't throw" Bevan in some way???...just trying to make some sense...
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

I think that your interpretation of the facts is wrong. Even if they were right, I doubt they would amount to a breach. If they did amount to a breach I do not think that the breach would give rise to a right of termination.
