"I don't know what the question was as to why you would answer it like that. Sometimes you don't read the full article in the media."
"Nick, do you think you've been made a scapegoat for the loss to Adelaide."
Interesting.

Roosey has backhanded Thommo again but the really funny thing is that Davo apparently believes the most shambolic and disgracefully administered club in the comp is a professional outfit. Here's you hat and here's your coat Davo and make sure the door doesn't hit you in the arse on your way out.
Paul Roos seems incapable of managing players that don't toe the line. Or rather, the impression I get is that his method is to marginalise and isolate such players on the way to the exit door, whilst putting on his trademark laconic, wry 'I know nothing' personanna. Has a rather nasty smell to it.
Unfortanately, there is some correlation between brilliance on the field and having an attitude, hence our team starting to fill up with committed, robotic gumbies and old guys who know the drill.
One wonders how Roos would cope with Fevola. I hope the rumours about him are wrong, because I don't think Paul Roos has a clue how to deal with a flawed genius. If he is drafted by the Swans, I can just see this playing out all over again.
Imagine if we had drafted Franklin or Steve Johnson. What a waste.

He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

Franklin is too selfish to have even debuted yet for the Swans. Certainly not while Playfair is giving 100% to the cause every week.

I think Roos isn't just dissing Davo's manager for the sake of it. He's giving backhand advice to Davo, namely "lose your manager". No-one in AFL goes around talking up their chances of going to another club mid-season, especially to our recent arch-rival.
Poor Nick, having a shocker year. Somehow only he could appoint such a clueless manager who plants idiotic stories like this.
The man who laughs has not yet heard the terrible news
Considering that it's got to this stage, it's hard to see Nick Davis playing for the Swans again. You don't even need to read between the lines anymore.
