    We need photos!!!

BTW the party one is a good excuse to get dressed up like that.

      Yes, finally an excuse
All those other times I was trying to figure out what to wear.
Photos will most likely end up on Facebook.

I'm originally from Sydney and moved down to Melbourne about 4 years ago.

I'd love to see the red V at Melbourne games, though I do love the Sydney one too.

Keep in mind, people, the red V is actually on the current guernsy, just bigger, thicker and with the opera house super-imposed on it.

Symbolically, I think it reps the club quite well.

The whole concept of away strips is stupid, but if we have to have one, it's got to be the red V.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

The red V down in Melbourne, and only Melbourne.

Considering that currently 30% of our ticketed members are Victorian, you would think the club would be very keen to attract and retain this base by wearing the Red V, white shorts and candy cane socks in some of their games in Melbourne each year.

I like how it just comes out for the Heritage round, but it probably is the obvious choice for an alternative strip.

SMFC is Sydney, Sydney is SMFC, it is all the same thing, I don't like the idea of it just being for Melbourne games, we might as well embrace that guernsey as a club and have it as the altnerative guernsey for all (non final series) away games or simply save it for the Heritage round.

I think the white jumper, red v and white shorts looks very good.

Exactly the same as Freo away strip except they are purple and have an anchor.

                      It is a shocking combo.

In anycase, it bearly matter what the club does on this front, because at the end of the day the club isn't fighting to hold on to fanbase in Victoria, like the Brisbane Lions are at the moment with all the old Fitzroy fans. So the Swans unlike the Lions DON'T have to bring back old jumpers in a mad grab to make sure they keep their srinking supporter base because are Victorian supporters are sticking by the club without any special jumpers.

However it would be nice if our Hertiage Round game was played in Melbourne next just for once instead of Sydney, so Melbourne based fans got to see the old jumper once again (and even if that didn't happen, as pointed out we do have more than one jumper to wear come Hertiage Round - Bring Back the Sash)
                      Once was, now elsewhere
