Nope. Hille has been better than both this year. Hille>Cox>Jolly this year. Next year might be Jolly's chance.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

Outstanding game. Takes a mark in the last line then before you know it he runs forward and bobs up with a winning goal. He was a bit stiff with he last shot that just shaved the inside of the post. Mind you his pack mark was very good.

Took contested marks all over the ground. An outstanding game.

Hille's played a handful of blinders but I don't think Cox has had a poor game despite playing in an appallingly bad team and carrying a foot injury.

The fact that he can be so mobile as a ruckman and do things like that was just awesome. He should have to do things like that. But he seems to all the time. A bloody good kick under pressure for a ruckman.

Forget the high-profile pick-ups. Darren Jolly's would have to rate as one of the best ever recruits we have EVER made in terms of his standing in the game. He was always in Jeff White's shadow at the Dees, yet is not only dominating at ruck contests but is a million % better than Everett around the ground.

Just an awesome effort today Darren Jolly. Well done son!

Long way to go IMO before he makes up for his contribution to the Swans failure to add another premiership trophy to the Driver Ave pool room in 2006. Sorry, but a good game against that ruck combination and the 10th placed team doesn't quite get him over the line.

Coxy is an awesome player, and in reality, probably better than Jols, but he did look a lot better when he had Judd, Cousins and co. making his work look better. I know he is injured this year, but he has been so-so. Having those awesome players around you does make a big difference...

C'mon ROK, it is not just todays game, he has been in pretty good form over the last month or so.

Jolly played a top game marking around the ground was the key.
Ratten eventually gave up on Cloke (most Carlton supporters have too!) and had to sacrifice Kruzer at centre bounces in the last quarter when he could have been damaging elsewhere.

The goal and then the telling backline marks show how much Jolly was working.

Fair enough, he's been pretty good all season IMO. That said, there is no point waxing lyrical about today's performance again Cloke and the kid with the unspellable-without-looking-it-up name.

Jolly is running to the right places now. Thats where his improvement has been. I wouldn't be surprised if Everitt had an influence on that.

If we're being honest, He has been pretty good all year....

But yes, he probably owes us at least that and yes, he should of smacked the be-jesus out of that ruck combination today.

So I think I'm agreeing with ROK... But still hearing you too Scott...

Cruiser?? I thought you could manage that one.

Right, but he did make position against much younger and faster opponents. Some of his pack marks were just shear height and strength.
But then I could see why the Pies delisted CCloke.

He was also by far one of the best swans on the ground.

His aerobic improvement has been un-be-lievable. 5 more or 5 fewer taps... meh. But a ruckman who goes from the standard-issue ruckman performance of something like 3 kicks, 4 handballs, 3 marks, to stats (including goals) more befitting of a midfielder: that's like having an extra player on the ground. Which makes the difference in a tight one. As Dean Cox has proved on numerous occasions. (Sadly for Cox he's now stuck with a dud team.)
