    Good point - he has to say it as well - I mean we are dealing with meathead blokes here - you have tell them something a few times before the message gets through!!!
    I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

          I don't know that the Swans intention was to only give him two weeks off.
          In fact it's only one week off in reality.
          The way they were talking they would not play Hall in his current frame of mind because of his actions over the last 9 weeks.
          That's a long time to be aggressive one would think.
          Hall gave the big punch - condemnation and apologies from Hall.
          Then he (according to the Swans and many here) tries to do it again weeks later.
          If there is a mental issue, you would highly doubt that he is over it.
          Simply, the Swans are collapsing in their moral stance.

          And that's what happens when you try to come off looking roses and bull@@@@ting the public with your moral high ground.

          All that public sentiment of "wow! the swans are a great team who really care for the welfare of their players" has gone right out the window.
          Its amazing when the club were just last weekend making Baz out to be still a headcase, that suddenly he is Ok again - amazing recovery - no mention of panic stations or anything. Anyway - have always been a Baz admirer - in fact for him to have endured what he has media wise this year I reckon if he really meant business, he would have knocked several peoples blocks off by now. However if it is still being percieved that the chicks are the problem. then Baz do yourself and your career (and your supporters) a favour, and leave the girly shenanigans to after the the finals. DO IT FOR THE TEAM!!!

                  Granted that it is pretty handy for Hall to be cleared to play as we lose MOL, there is a time when you are fit to play. Suits me that the psych is happy this week.
                  And i don't think the club or Hall would regard a week of club imposed absence from the team for probably its' highest paid and most powerful forward as insignificant!

                    Wouldnt it be funny - if Baz kicks a bag of goals on Saturday night he will go from "Headcase to Hero" in 6 days ! its just a thought!

                      Good. About time.

                      I reckon the club look pretty silly though now.

                        I don't give a crap if the club looks stupid or not. It would have been more stupid to have had a perfectly fit Bazza sitting in the coaches box and no forwards on the ground.
                        As long as we, the members and supporters are happy, who gives a toss what others think.

                          He had no off field mental problems - just a charade to save face that our leadership group deals with stupid acts (ie. five frees in one and a half qrtr's, taking a swipe at Wakelin, not doing the team things) on the field in Hall's instance and off the field (read. Nick Davis).

                          It was obvious that he would be back this week - one weeks suspension by the AFL and one week by the leadership group. It is just a shame that the psychologist was the patsy/fall guy in this instance. Although, it may help Brecht sell more copies of his books....

                              Given Sydney's new policy of appropriate "psychological fitness" required to get a game, if the following blokes were currently running around, who would pass the test?

                              * Mark Jackson?
                              * Dermott Brereton?
                              * John Ironmonger?
                              * Doug Hawkins?
                              Seriously, how good are the South Melbourne Market dimmies?

                                They certainly do. If they hadn't played this saga out in the media, (BBBH could of had a sore...hip, wrist, eyebrow..something, anything...) the issue of BBBH, and any sanctions,would of been kept inhouse, and no one would of given 2 hoots. Now they look like a joke. For Roosy to expect the general public, other than the most one eyed of supporters , to believe a few sessions of couch work have healed his mind, just when MOL is ruled out, is laughable. Hopefully in future any inhouse sanctions will be just that...inhouse.
                                Having said all that...thankfully sanity prevailed.
