Is Malceski's calf at all related to his his knee injury?? or is it the other leg?

Ah, yes you are right(2-3 weeks). Better make that a definite.

Is it the same hammy that kept him out of the team earlier this year?

Playfair looks like the Mummy so it's likely that any injury he has is a recurring one!!

How far off is Fosdike? Do you think they could risk bringing him back in to play on a smaller ground like Manuka?

Manuka is bigger than the MCG!

That said, if Malceski can be brought straight back in following radical knee surgery than I can't see why the best runner at the club would have to come back through the reserves.

Wouldnt be surprised to see Kennelly miss a week at least, a couple of times the other night the ball went past his bad side and normally he could have punched it but he didnt even put his arm up.

I had no idea - it seems tiny in comparison - the picket fence is deceptive!

Not really much difference in size between the MCG (160m x 141m) and Manuka Oval (162.5m x 138.4m) but it'll great if Fossie makes his long awaited return.

Fosdike come straight back in to the firsts? Get real people! He missed all the pre-season and has played intermittently in the seconds. He will need 4 weeks just to get his touch back. I like Fossie, but he has never looked a natural, so will definitely need time in the seconds.

Doc Larkins said on the Sunday Footy Show that the talk is that Malceski is having trouble with his knee that was operated on.

When I think about it one of either LRT or Spida should sit this one out. The Bulldogs are probably the shortest team in the comp.

We might not have a huge choice on who comes in with who goes out the injury list is a mile long and some of the players who arent on there need time in the ressies.

Would they bring white in as well as having Jolly and Spida in the team? I cant see it happening.

So if some1 watches the ressies every week who is in there that is fit and ready for seniors?

We need pace for the dogs that i definately agree with.
We are going to loose Goodes and Playfair as definates. I cant see eski being fit enough or fast enough to play the dogs being out for 3 weeks.

So our choices are- Brennan, Crouch, White, Brabazon? Any1 else i have missed. We dont have alot to choose from so cant drop more than 1 considering we have 2 out with injury.

I went to the dogs match yesterday and they were flat cant see em being like that again.

A bit off the topic but I'm heading to the game at Canberra at the weekend. I haven't been at a game up there for a few years but was wondering if they still do stuff for the kids at the Reserves game on Saturday leading into the Sunday game. Last time I went they had a stand where you could get posters, stickers etc and most of the players for Sunday's game were there signing stuff for the kids. Does this still happen?

Haven't heard anything about festivities on Saturday, but on Sunday they want everyone to bring along a footy and are encouraging a post match kick-to-kick. Actually don't think there'd be free Swans kids stuff .....isn't it a 'home game' for WBD?
