Shouldn't the game have been stopped while the ump was lying on the ground? ...at the ground we were very surprised that the game just went on regardless.

But when you're an umpire not expecting any contact whatsoever, and you get an elbow in the ribs/kidney from an AFL player running at a contest, it's going to hurt.
It appears that, like most people, I feel like we are playing against 25 out there most of the time. As Roosy said we are no longer everyone's second favourite team, and the hype and about anything remotely out of place and anti Sydney sentiment in the Melbourne press and in some commentary is terrible. Sometimes I turn down the commentary because it seems so biased. B2 should have nothing to worry about, but what about the hoo ha about Hall being in trouble for being in a contest, the hide of the man! I'm not worried about this year, no one is going to beat Geelong, I think we should be looking forward more and getting those young blokes some game time and exposure to big matches.
