Swans will play Collingwood in the first final

St Kilda have four relatively easy games in which they will be favourite Collingwood (tough week two v.good palyers out Shaw and Didak), Fremantle, Adelaide(at the Dome) and Essendon... so as soon as we drop one they will go ahead of us.

So we have to win all four.....

They'll be favourites in all of them but I wouldn't like to have money on them winning all 4. They got beaten by West Coast two weeks ago and fell over Port last week. They've lost Luke Ball (who has been in good form) for a month.
They're no certainties in any of those games.

On paper, it's woeful. Been competitive in every game though, so I certainly think we're capable of beating teams in the 8.

No big deal if we finish 5th. Playing the 8th placed team at home and the next game (assuming we win) at the MCG vs the Dogs or the Hawks is not that much of a difference than losing to Geelong then getting a home game against a St. Kilda for instance.

A knockout final in Melb v Dogs/Hawks is not much different to a knockout home final v StKilda

IMHO The favourable first part of the draw has something to do with where the swans are at. Big question is are they good enough to maintain it given their record against the top 8.

Both sides were ordinary I thought.

I'm more dirty on the fact that we didn't win at least one of the 'Dogs games. Dominated periods of both games and lost both of them in the 2nd qtr.
