He was the reason we won that game on Sturday night. He played some of the best football I have seen anyone play all year. He deserves to a swan for the rest of his career and never be looked at as being trade bait ever.
I don't understand comments like this. This is not specific to Jude Bolton. Just because he has one very very good game (and it was) does not mean the criticism of him or any other player is less justified in the past.

The reason I say this is because I have been following the swans for a very long time and am a very passionate supporter of the club, as I am sure lots of people on here are. I have only discovered this site a few months ago and absolutely love it. I love exchanging thoughts and opinions with other passionate supporters like myself, I love talking about the swans with other passionate supporters like myself, but, the one thing I have discovered on here is that there seems to be a lot of negative comments made about LOTS of players in the team and sometimes these comments really give me the S.H.I.T.S. I am sure every football club has supporters like these, not ones who give negative constructive comments, just the ones who constantly say..."lets trade him and lets drop him" over and over and over again. In my opinion, football clubs dont need supporters like these.

Why? What difference does it make to the club?

I don't see many posts saying, as you say they do "lets trade and drop him" without suggestions on how this can improve the team, which is what we are all supporting no? Rather than the players.

I suggest you go back and look at quite a few threads after we have had a loss. I have seen plenty of comments like the ones you say you havent seen.

He has had a lot of very good games this year and would be top 5 in our B&F at this point.

I accept that he deserved criticism in the past for playing poorly. I don't however think it was justified for people to call for his head, say that he is a hack etc. These are the people who either have no idea about football or blinded by their biasness and now look stupid.

Meh, Roos didn't see Davis winning the semi final.

Again, why would the club care what fans say on a fansite?

I think a lot of people take offence to what people say about Jude Bolton - for example - because they know that he isn't perfect and that usually the criticism is warranted.

I do think that it isn't our place to comment on anything but a players performance onfield. And I certainly see very little of that.

again...look more closely instead of just dismissing what I wrote.
