We've steadied nicely and don't look too far out of it. If we can continue to push the ball forward straight up the middle quickly (Crouch and Buchanan have been particularly good there) then we can be a real threat.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

I thought Crouch, Bird and Hall were all good that quarter. We did okay in the middle. Two problems - lack of forward line pressure allowing Geelong to set up uber fast attacking moves and our backline was just turned inside out on this big ground, aided and abetted by the cheating @@@@ing umpires.He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.Comment

Don't forget the clear "hands in the back" in the goal square.
When will we stop giving away dumb, unnecessary free kicks? We are the touighest, but thickest team in the comp, no doubt.
How easy is it for Geelong players to get 10 metres in the clear for the short or medium kick forward? Embarrassing.

I am the umpire monitor for tonight. Two holding the ball decision in 2 minutes for Geelong players completed ignored. There were a lot of loose Geelong players during that build up into the forward 50m. If we are going to wing this, we need to keep it tight and man up after turnovers.
