I think the other teams will only take more comfort from the fact that to keep ROK quiet is to keep Swans quiet.

I agree. At times it appears that we are content to lose a player, rather than try and break the tag.
He could have gone to FF, into the midfield (starting in the centre, not the wing) or even to half back.Comment

Lets not forget who we played this week. These guys regularly win games by 100 or so points, but we competed at least. I would have to say I thought some the umpiring, especially some holding the ball calls went well in the Cats favour, and what about that push in the back that resulted in a goal, was that the umpires playing a bad joke on us. I doubt it would have affected the result, but couple it with two or three bad misses from set shots and we could have been closer

The obvious change to make a difference - wing / hbf / onball are little different in terms of where he typically runs to have his impact - would be to play him deep in the forward line. I don't think that would necessarily have improved the team because the forward line was functioning pretty well being as open as it was. If we'd been threatening in the midfield Thompson might have been forced to make some changes and clog it up a bit more. As it was, he could reasonably be confident that we wouldn't win enough clean ball through the middle to make Hall's enjoyment of all that space really count.
Moving O'Keefe (and his opponent) to our forward line would have gifted the Cats an extra defender to help fill up that space, which in turn might have made Hall's job more difficult. Of course, Roos was somewhat hampered by having Goodes as the second permanent target and not really being able to play him elsewhere due to his fitness restrictions.Comment

The last 2 matchups clearly didn't favour ROK. Crowly is a great tagger that can be damaging offensively as well, and Corey is just a great player.
But it is only 2 games which followed some of his best form of the season, so I would wait and see what happens v. Collingwood before passing judgement.Comment

Typical goodes bagging on here, you will regret it when he retires.i dont get why when a player such as okeefe is being tagged and having minimal impact they arent moved.
Could of moved him into a full forward role or down back, or anywhere to get him a bit more involved.
Comparing okeefe to goodes is riddiculous. Goodes suddenly had a bit of movement in the last quarter when it was over, spent the rest of the game watching the grass growComment
