I was there, working for the Swans in 92/93....it was NOT pleasant, but, Lawson , Lewis and the guys had more heart than this mob has today...or indeed in most of this 2nd half of the season.

What would be going on in O'Keefe's head? He is out of contract at the end of this season. Will probably be his final contract coming up. Do you reckon he might abandon a sinking ship for a side with a shot at a premiership?

        Three Quarter Time

        Collingwood 15.8 98
        Sydney 6.7 43

And the horror run against the Magpies continues. The Swans have been well beaten in just about every aspect of the game (except for losing, turnovers, etc.) with several players well down in form and maybe a couple that won't be there in 2009.

I love Leo for what he did at the end of the Granny in '05 - but since HITB he has been screwed. LRT I loved in the 1st half of '05 GF and only that halfa game, should never have played that game IMHO, Spida was 1 year too late coming up, may have been the difference in '06, but WHAT has he contributed??? Jolly has become a better player, lets hope our other young tall uns have learnt off him!

If we can get a first round pick we may have to consider it.

We desperately need to rebuild and the best way of getting class is through the national draft. Our reliance on the rookie draft and trading for other club's cast offs has left us with a list very low on skill and almost bereft of class.

Was it Robert Walls that I just heard talking up how valuable it is to have a guy who only gets 4 touches but kicks 2 goals? A super accurate kick? The same Robert Walls that gets into Nick Davis like nothing else?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

It saddens me deeply what I've witnessed tonight. I truly hope now that we don't make the finals, as irt would only mean an immediate and inglorious exit in week 1. The players have been embarrassing since the game against Melbourne. I suppose that I have been guilty of believing our players were better than they actually are...well, maybe not.
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

It's much more difficult to watch a team on the slide, rather than a team rebuilding.

                              Where's the hope?
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.
