13 seasons (1996-2008), 11 finals appearances, 1 minor premiership, about 20 finals, about 10 finals victories, 4 preliminary finals, 3 grand finals, 1 premiership.

Sure looks like an era to me.

Especially when compared to the 50 seasons prior to that:
50 seasons (1946-1995), 4 finals appearances, 6 finals for 6 losses, 7 wooden spoons.

I'd say 2003-2008 is the 'era'. I think going all the way back to '96 is drawing a long bow.

It's not such a long bow to draw, considering the regular finals appearances from 1996 and the lack of them in the 50 years prior.

Some of our veterans started their careers at about that time. The list in 1996 included Leo Barry, Michael O'Loughlin, Jared Crouch and possibly Ben Mathews and Brett Kirk (as a rookie or supp list player).
