I think this is the tangible evidence those of us outside of North need. It's what the board at North have been trying to tell us subliminally by only begrudgingly extending his tenure at Ardump Street.

Perhaps Arch's winnebago was only burnt down because some good samaritan thought the Junk Yard Dog was asleep in there.

Laidley will end up on the scrap heap like that other fraud Conan Ayers and his brilliant career behind the clip board...'another one bites the dust'.

Even if North Melbourne won against the Swans, their fecal percentage would have cost them fourth.

This is my take on it.
Do you reckon actual North supporters would be embarrassed by this mock attempt to get Umps to look after them?

        It's so NRL.

Yea, weak tactics to bring this up now - so long after the supposed event.

Tunnelling involves putting an opponent off balance by taking out his legs while he is in the air.. [attempting to take a mark].

Laidley said, "Last time we played the Swans, I thought our key forwards were tunnelled, I thought their arms were taken''.

So what's he on about grabbing their poor chaps arms while they are air borne and upside down

Maybe he should tell the umps to watch out for a new "Inverted Tunnelling" contrived by those dangerous Swans.

I wonder if Paul R could remind the umps of Gieschen's comment that Baz doesn't get the frees he deserves?
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

I guess tunnelling happens at both ends of the field.... I just hope that the umpires are consistant. (look to both ends of the field to pay frees for the attacking team)

                    Laidley Laidley Paranoid Laidley!!!

It seems that all Laidley has in his repertoire is to constantly remind his team that it is "Us against the whole nasty World".

How pathetic to publicly apologise to "Shannon Grant's family", if this is what is required to sting your team into action for the upcoming game against the Swans then you Mr Laidley are running out of ideas and surely your message to the team has become stale - Move aside for someone with a bit more imagination and tactical knowledge!!!

I really hope we kick them out this week!!!

Crappy example - Hall always gets targetted he is stating a fact that any follower of football knows.

Laidley on the other hand does not know any other way to coach other than use the siege mentality to try to lift his players - like he did prior to their 5-6 game streak when they were questioned by the media.

Finally, don't compare a legend in Roos to the very average Laidley!!!

God I hope we can knock the whineboners off this week.

It would be wonderful to shut Laidley and all if their whinging supporters up.

I'll back that this is a crappy example. Where does it say that Roos went whinging to the umpires dept? [Looks again at the article quoted] Oh yeah, it doesn't say that, but Whiney Laidley went off sooking to the umpires, even before the game has been played.
                              Does God believe in Atheists?

After this crap from Laidley who needs to remember '96 or, a few years later, their pathetic attempt to intrude into the Sydney market to feel the desire for revenge.
