MOL and Playfair - what's the story?

    I would have said the same of Bolton before the West Coast game but in any respect Im not looking for the one player to be taking a shot on goal after the siren. If thats whats needed you wouldnt choose Franklin in your team either.

    If I was to stake my life on a shot at goal like that then bring back plugger. Even at his current supreme physical condition he would probably be a better kick on goal than anyone currently in the team.

    I dont see who is currently doing a better job in the forward line in the role that playfair or MOL play (other than Hall) and we miss another big body up there at the moment (especially when we play some fo the stronger teams who havent gone on end of season trip a week early). I would be happy with either of them in the team (but would prefer MOL any day of the week).

    In any respect I doubt playfair will get a run as they just wont have the time to get him match fit. It wont matter with MOL as he seems to always be match fit and often plays better when fresh.

        My opinion is that our run of poor form coincided with Magic's absence.

        He's absolutely superb at keeping a defence worried and often without Barry there, he has a bit more room and creative freedom.

        That said, I thought our little blokes were fantastic at Barry's feet.

            I read somewhere that Mick's problem wasn't the ankle.
            I just can't remember what it was.

                I saw Micky O jump for a ball and land on both feet on Saturday night. It was just after the player's warm up, right in front of the race. He didn't seem to suffer from landing on either ankle (I'm not sure which one is injured). Of course jumping and landing in place is completely different to running around on a football field, twisting and turning.

                I'd love to see him back this weekend - at the form he was in for most of the season.

                    Playfair is great as our fourth fwd. When MO'L & BBBH are playing with Moore, ROK and B1 in form, he gets the 5th best defender and usually beats them. Turn the tables a bit and put the 4th and 3rd best defender on him and he rarely gets a touch.

                    And when he does, he butchers it anyway (Kicking at goal).
