Agree and he seems to be on this fanatical path of thorwing the ball up at stoppages in a split second even without any ruckman being present anyway.
I would be tempted to play Fosdike for this very reason as he can carry the ground and get to these contests.

Gee the glass is half empty on this thread.
Why not look at it positively. The umps say "hey it's a final, we can't be seen to be one sided. We had better make it an even spread". They want to go to the next round and there is more chance they will let things go a bit. If Ray overdoes the grandstanding he may be taken as the tool he is by the umpiring panel. Do you think he will want that.
At Even Stevens we would be much better off and that might mean a couple of frees in front or a couple of 50's for goals.
Lets hope the goal umpires get it right is more to the point. They have had a horror year.Comment

Nico i think that there is a real risk that Chamberlain will play really technical frees in the first quarter. The side that leads to the ball will have a better chance of avoiding a mounting free kick count, particularly in the first quarter. Chamberlain umpires by paying very technical free kicks early to establish a control. He is an umpire that has no "feel"for the game, lacks judgment and is over emotional. He particularly hates big blokes who laugh at him or show dissent. Guess who. The big kid that belted the bejeezes out of him at the back of the playground has a lot to answer for.Gee the glass is half empty on this thread.

I get everything you say but as they say in the classics "no point getting stressed out, in advance, about something of which we have no control of on RWO". What will be will be. I had a quick look but couldn't find where you got your stats from. I am interested to see the same info for the Kangaroos. Any chance of a link or posting this?Umpire records in 2008 swans games.
On that list we need someone to take out Vozzo, and get Schmitt on the ground.Code:Ump % G W D L M Head 100% 2 2 0 0 J Schmitt 100% 2 2 0 0 M James 100% 2 2 0 0 S Wenn 100% 1 1 0 0 K Nicholls 100% 1 1 0 0 D Margetts 100% 1 1 0 0 S Grun 100% 1 1 0 0 M Avon 88% 4 3 1 0 M Stevic 75% 4 3 0 1 R Chamberlain 75% 4 3 0 1 S McLaren 75% 2 1 1 0 C Donlon 67% 3 2 0 1 C Kamolins 67% 3 2 0 1 D Sully 67% 3 2 0 1 S McBurney 50% 6 3 0 3 H Kennedy 50% 4 2 0 2 J Armstrong 50% 2 1 0 1 B Rosebury 33% 6 2 0 4 S Jeffery 33% 3 1 0 2 S McInerney 33% 3 1 0 2 S Ryan 17% 3 0 1 2 M Vozzo 0% 3 0 0 3 M Ellis 0% 1 0 0 1 S Meredith 0% 1 0 0 1 M Nicholls 0% 1 0 0 1

see what you are saying and at the end of the day its up to the Swans to not make the mistakes that "little one" picks up on. However, he is from the same mould of good old Darren Goldspink. Goldy could be shown all footage of the previous weekends game where he made horrendous mistakes. It would be pointed out too him but he still never admitted he was wrong - wouldnt even entertain the idea. Little Ray is the same way. Its your typical short man syndrome thing.Gee the glass is half empty on this thread.

He is apparently engaged to the sister of Manly Warringahs Monahan boys - even they think he's a bit of a tool (and said as such).
And agree his penchant for balling up quickly before anyone is in position is just annoying.Last edited by Wardy; 4 September 2008, 07:13 AM.I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

The shadows of doubt are a little unusual. Maybe the Prozac is a little under the mark this week?I get everything you say but as they say in the classics "no point getting stressed out, in advance, about something of which we have no control of on RWO".
