I enjoyed that game so much. It was like a throw back to the good old days. Kirk, McVeigh and Jack were all great. Ted Richards played a great game too. Goodes, ROK etc. - great even performance. He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.Comment

I think it was a smart move by Roos a few weeks ago to question the longevity of the team._______________

Great win by the boys. We started to claw our way back late in the 1st, hung on in spite of the play going against us in the 2nd to narrow the margin in that quarter and played easily our best half of football for the season in the 2nd half.
Kirk, McVeigh, Buchanan were brilliant, Jude Bolton continued his good form while up forward ROK had his best game in 6 weeks, Goodesy looked freer in his running and BBBH really looked strong. 3 goals from Jack were definitely a bonus.
Roll on next week!
I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

The Swans haven't given me this much joy since beating the Eagles in Perth in 2006. SO damn proud right now, so proud!Comment

Game Over
Sydney 17.8 110
North Melbourne 11.9 75
A fantastic second half effort by the Swans has now set up a clash against the Doggies at the 'G next week. After a debacle of a first quarter, the Swans turned it around with attacking footy, tackling pressure, winning ruck duels, winning clearances, clean possessions and kicking accurately.
There were hardly any bad players with the best including Monty (14 kicks, 12 handballs, 8 marks, 2 tackles), McVeigh (13 kicks, 12 handballs, 2 marks, 1 goal) and Kirk (12 kicks, 11 handballs, 8 marks) leading the possession tally. Goodes, Hall, Moore, O'Keefe and Jack were great in the forward line all kicking multiples with Hall back to some of his best form. Richards was the best in the backline along with Mattner and B1 having another solid performance in the midfield. Jolly was the best ruckman on the ground with 40 hitouts.
Overall the backline was much better than it was several weeks ago with extra numbers back at the right time. The forward line did their job kicking accurately and at times created an open paddock for Hall to win the one-on-one contests. The midfield won the clearances when it mattered and the likes of Kirk, McVeigh and Bolton helped the Swans get the win.
Next week should be a good contest against the out of form Bulldogs and a chance to send them out in straight sets. Overall, a great performance by the Swans and is a warning to the rest of the competition that we aren't dead yet.I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

I just couldn't come on here tonight until now...the vibe was not good and then when Razor Ray paid that first free kick and THAT goal..I thought what have we done to deserve this.
Was so proud of the team.
Jarryd McVeigh was awesome tonight. The best game I haveseen him play.
Kirk unbelievable in the 3rd quarter.
Kennelly...Dreadful easily the worst game I have seen him play. Everitt has every right to yell at him tonight.
LRT ok as Hale didn't dominate ..still made lots of decision making mistakes.
You little rippers .
Boy I dislike the Kangaroos. If they had won it would have meant the DARK side was back with Hawthorn and Collingwood winning. There is still hope aginst the forces of evil."The Dog days are over, The Dog days are gone" Florence and the MachineComment
