sensational 3rd quarter that is what we could do when we wanted in 2005 for 4 quarters. Still very close, but we need the 1st couple of goals of the last after Norths goal at the end there.

Brilliant quarter from the Swans. Kirk showed why he's the best captain in the comp right now. McVeigh showed he's now our #1 midfielder. Hall getting into it. ROK and Goodes pushing up the ground and starting to run. Pressure fantastic.
Another quarter with that intensity and we won't be beaten.
I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

A much, much better quarter from the Swans kicking 8 goals and could've been 9 if Goodes didn't miss a sitter but it's far from over as Hale kicked a goal after the siren. Kirk and McVeigh have been absolutely outstanding winning the clearances with Goodes and Hall really lifting and kicking important goals. There's still a long way to go and hopefully the Swans can continue the attacking style, tackling pressure and accurate goal kicking and progress through to the Semis.

When we were hot down the bentre why did Malceski go wide. He's done a couple of really dumb disposals. Hall is on fire, they must go him long to him and wait for the crumbs.Comment

haha - that was a v good quarter from Hall - and a poor one from LRT
I maintain that we cant win another premiership with him (ie 2009 as 2008 will be heading to KP) I just don't think he's capable of consistently contributing to the cause and he brings with him too many negativesComment
