    Friday Night's Telecast

Since this will be on Channel 7 I am assuming it will not be live. Is a disgrace if it's not as there is not even any alternative like watching it on Fox. We need to start petitioning Channel 7 if that is the case.

Yeah I really hope there is a clause that forces 7 to show it live from this week on. I hate delayed telecasts, fair enough for Melbourne to increase the attendance but it really would be a disappointment if not live into Sydney.

I would not have cared - til I found out we play on Friday so work commitment prevents me hopping on a plane.Grrr!!!

Remember that TV stations are run as a business - they will decide on their commercial interests alone. If they decide to screen it live , there is no need to thank them.

isn't there some clause that swans matches must be shown pretty close to live into sydney??

considering it is a final - there will be uproar on here if it's not on until 8.30!!

Showed the Hawks vs Dogs final on Seven in primetime last Friday, so no reason to believe they won't do similar next Friday.

Yeah I don't think that's the issue raised by Anne though, the issue raised here is whether it will be live or not and all indications suggest it will not be shown in Sydney until 8.30pm. Hopefully that changes now that the Swans are playing though.

It is a miracle to get FNF (on FTA) at a watchable time up here, just being greatful for small mercies.

yeh i bet it wont be live. The final on Friday night here in Canberra was delayed till 8.30 as usual, so Im guessing the same here. Really pisses me off to be honest- how many bogans actually watch better homes and gardens anyway? Cant be anymore then would watch the footy if it was live.

It is the highest rating show nationally on Friday Nights (Better Homes and Gardens)

Which is no excuse when it comes to finals, but there is clear commercial reasoning from 7 on using it as the lead in show.

Maybe they'll just squeez in a small hilights package of the 1st quarter before then going livish.

they better not Cheer_squad. I prefer the whole game delayed to it cut up into pieces. I just wish CH 7 wouldnt waste so much time crapping on when its delayed... ie on Friday the first quarter only just ended at 9.30.

They will show the whole thing no matter what, but delayed telecasts really annoy me, I always give in and check the scores.

                          Stop whining.....

A delay of less than an hour is insignificant.

Since 7 love putting together hilight packages, why don't they make one for Better Homes & Gardens instead? Then air it during the half time break (about 5 minutes of it is probably all that's worth watching). Why not chuck in there too some footage of when the Pope arrived in Sydney.
