I just don't get why 7 wouldn't show it live.

Why pay millions of dollars for the rights to show the AFL if you are going to bump the only game you have all weekend, a final nonetheless, to show Better Homes and Gardens?

It makes no sense to me, but then again, the Einsteins who are in charge of programming have a habit of making non sensical decisions, especially when it comes to sport.

I wonder if they will run adds for it - because otherwise the over 80's patchwork quilters club and the DIY coffee table builders league will be mighty miffed if they turn on the teve, put there feet up in readiness and there is footy instead of Johanna Griggs.

But then again channel 7 being as pathetic as they are will probably run the adds for the game during Saturday mornings kids shows.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Started last night, scrolling across the screen during H&A, so if they aren't a fan of that then they are up @@@@ creek. They'll miss the first 1/2 of the show.

Looks like it will still be delayed, if the telecast starts at 8:00, given the game starts at 7:50.

Its odd - they love the stuff - I guess we all did when we were about 16 and had no taste what so ever - thankfully over time you learn never to touch the stuff ever again!

The sad fact is I cannot stand Fosters, yet I will probably have one whilst watching the Swans final over here so I can reminisce about the homeland...The Great Southern Land!

We can't really blame 7 for (possibly) not showing the glame live as we could only manage a paltry 19,127 to a home final.
I'd be happier if they also let Fox show it so those of us who like to watch it live and listen to the radio commentary can do so.

Just checked the weekly TV liftout in today's Telegraph (Sydney), the game is scheduled for 7:30pm Friday on Channel 7, so it looks like it will be live!

Could be some ugly figures up against the NRL finals, though probably not nearly as ugly as the ratiings for Saints-Collingwood will be on Saturday - it's scheduled for 8:30pm on Ten in Sydney (on delay), but up against the live NRL and Bledisloe! Will struggle to beat the Iron Chef!

Interesting results for melb tv ratings last week.
                              1) Packed to the rafters
                              2) Hawk v Dogs 602,000
                              3) Swans v Norf 594,000

It is the first time this year I've seen a swans game in the ratings, let alone being third, and only 8K behind 2 Melbourne teams.

                              Not a bad effort.

Must be all those Norf fans.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
