    The Wiz to the rescue.

    Swans have lost the plot

BRING back the Swanettes and the sex appeal. That will have the crowds flocking back to Sydney Swans games. The problem with the Swans is they need a drawcard. They need me.

No offence Big Bad Bazza, but you're not a drawcard.

I'm a lover and an entertainer. I'm the complete package. Just ask the Swanettes. My long blond hair, tight shorts and Hollywood looks made the Swans $50million in my day.

Big Bad Bazza is a fighter. Don't get me wrong - he's a great player, too, but he's different to me. He's a tough guy and I'm a sexy guy who could play football, the pretty boy of the AFL.
Glad to see his ego is still in check.

Don't laugh. Demetriou and the arse clowns currently destroying the game will offer him a consultancy on "developing the franchise" for western Sydney. That mysterious city of opportunity where the streets are paved with gold and ambitious men with gelled hair and expensive suits can make their fame and fortune.

He's good for a laugh is The Wiz.

It really is a shame that his post-career shenanigans overshadow his on field career.

I'd reckon 99% of football supporters, Swan fans included, actually have no idea just how good he was.

In all fairness, Capper screams Gold Coast icon to me nowadays and if there is one classy thing that the masses of Western Sydney aspire to it's spending time with Gold Coast icons.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

                Forget that.

Bring 'em down here with the Swans.

Might even generate some much needed publicity down here.

Hell, I'd be off to Carlton games if the Bluebirds came back

That's a really good point. He was slightly before my time but you only have to watch the old tapes to know that he could seriously play. To kick over 100 goals in a season, you have to be a pretty handy footballer.

                      I love Capper.

Bring him back. He's right, we need the entertainment!!
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Capper is one of the main reasons why the Swans still aren't taken seriously by Sydney's mainstream media and supporters of other codes.

He may have been an effective forward for a while, but he is now just an embarassing stereotype the current Swans' administration and playing group has tried very hard to distance itself from.

I know that he is - he just makes me cringe thats all.

However the full on hizzy fit at the Team of the Century dinner was no stunt, he was genuinely pissed off the he didnt get picked. (pretty funny to watch really)

I would pass on the Swanettes. They must be 60 years old by now.
