Hey Myles two-dads ... a bunch of flowers would have been nice.
A discount on my scotches even!!

(Yes, I know third prize in the beauty contest (a free membership for next year) is fabulous, but not all of my friends are as fortunate as moi.)
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Everybody who actually was there should post in the thread stating 'I was there !!!' We can then archive it.

As time rolls on, the number of people who say 'I was there' to various big games swells to 6 figure numbers in grounds the size of Manuka.

          I'll start:

'I was there' with DoctorJ and Casey36.

          That's 3 of us.

I was there with eight others (none RWO) including my partner who was sick and has never seen the Swans win. I was sweating that the small crowd would be a dud but she saw the passion and found out how much fun a good game (or good second half) can be.

Des was in the row behind - first time we've sat so close since the end of Sept 2005. It's an omen.

                      Exactly my point.

The day they beat Melbourne to end the huge run of losses, we had a few quiet ones after the game, barely anybody around. We then wandered over to the Moore Park Bowling Club for the aftermatch. The crowd was massively upbeat and excited about finally breaking through, but it was hardly a crush.

Since then, I reckon there are 50K fans who reckon they were there.

I was there with my 1 + 7 - Linda, Franny, Tim (STK ring in but wore my spare scarf god love him or I told him he couldn't come), Dawnie, Dave, Tab and Zach.
                        Haven't sat so close ever.
My adding not so good but that is 8 on the total (6 members/2 non but I'm working on it)

Ok, what does NARF mean? I was overseas that year so I guess that makes me NARF too.
