    Pluggers goal thread

Was half there. Arrived late, thinking he wouldn't get required goals in Q1.
Heard a roar from a few hundered meters out. Got in to find invasion finishing. Joined said invasion, walking across oval to my seat. Saved walking around. Should be more invasions.

He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Plugger's 1300th goal was back in the days when we could beat Collingwood too. They held no fear for us back then.

It must have been a while ago.

            Mal Michael stood the mark.

He has since moved to Brisbane and won three flags, retired, came back with Essendon, retired again...........

He had a roller coaster of a career. Had the record goal kicked on him, played in one of the best teams in football history and then played in one of the worst teams in football history.

Nanna Primmy ... I took them up on that offer - it cost me $45 dollars and I've had the same seat ever since.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
