Look they have done well BUT we need to take some pain now and maybe sacrifice next year instead of trying to make the finals and play all the young ones and make some decisions. One positive is we have avoided a 10+ thrashing next week, Last week was our GF and we are 40 points worse than Bulldogs and they are 30 points worse than Geelong. I will still say well done Swans to finish at the very least 6th.

Agreed. We have introduced a swag of next generation players and still managed to win a final. This year was never really a chance, so on balance, I am satisfied. They had a dip.

I just hope that Roos has the intestinal fortitude to let a few go over the summer and bring a few through next year.

Im proud of the boys, they have exceeded all our expectations...

We have a good basis here to not bottom out next year and try for another flag at least, we need more class in the middle.

We were the last interstate side playing in the finals, we have introduced a lot of young talent and a lot more waiting in the wings, im trully excited about the future.
