It absolutely amazes me how L Ablett (even though he's an A word) and Jarrad Crouch get rettained on the list and we drop Thornton even if we pick him up again on the rookie list, which seems likely. We are moving towards a rebuilding stage and guys with massive pttential like Thornton get dropped and re rookied (possibly) and crouch is chillin no pressure on. Are we or are we not looking towards the future i appreciate what crouch has done and i loved him in 05 but we are nowlooking towards our next flag and he is NOT in those calculations.
    Crouch and Ablett delisted

    Murphy promoted
    Thornton stays as is

God i hope Vez wins the rising star this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Off season sucks bring back footy

What? Make leads in the forward line and have his team mates ignore him? I hope not.

Would by mighty pissed off if someone else got Thornton if we planned to rookie him.
Unless the AFL has changed the NSW Rookie list rules, if Thornton is not selected in the national draft he could be nominated as a NSW rookie (ala Matthew 'Smokey' Davis) as he has spent three years "in the NSW system". If he agrees then the club nominates him as a NSW rookie prior to the rookie draft and no other club could rookie him even if they have earlier picks.

If ther rules have changed then he is up for grabs. Obviously, if there is no interest - he's gone!

        Cheers
