I know there are Swans members who live, for example, on Sydney's northern beaches, an area not well serviced by public transport. If the Swans were to play at Brookvale Oval, it would cause me major problems to get there, but I would still make the effort without complaining. You know why? Because the pleasure of supporting the team, and seeing them play, would more than make up for the inconvenience to me in getting there.

I'm an unconditional supporter of the Sydney Swans. How about you?
I don't need to answer this. I will let my actions speak for themselves. I don't need to go into forums and pump myself up as being an "unconditional supporter" to make a point.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

      Thanks mate!

I second that having witnessed him 1st hand at the '06 GF (the Unholies were sitting in the row behind him).

Now if we could just get the Swans to relocate to Brookie I could just stroll on down there
        Bring it on!

One of the many problems with Homebush is that when it is full it is full of tourists so the atmosphere is strange. When it is half full it is partly full of tourists and half empty! When it is nearly empty there are no tourists so the die-hards who really want to be there shamelessly fire up and have a good time.
            Agree wholeheartedly with this statement!!!

I will travel to all Swans games in Sydney regardless of venue (and to a couple in Melbourne each year as well).

But I still really really really hate the stadium as a venue for AFL.

Love the SCG though. It is the swans home

                .

Funny this is how I felt when I came over from Adelaide and first went to the SCG, years latter a mate came over from Adelaide and he went to the SCG and pissed himself laughing all day hearing the comments from supporters about the "ref" etc cheering points and cheering the swans when they lost etc.

                Cheers
