I'm already sick of Blue and White and I'm sure it's going to get worse
What does any of this have to do with living in Geelong?
Well Cher was complaining that there was blue and white everywhere etc - which I would have thought was part and parcel of living in Geelong at the present time. I was saying that the same thing would happen if the Sharks made it to the Grand Final the Sutherland Shire would go off like Geelong has. it would be black white and blue everywhere (also consider that the Sharks have never won a premiership). It was Annie who started "Shoire" bit - then Darren had an observation about living in different areas - geez chill Rev, did you get out of bed on the wrong side?

I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Well understandable crabbiness then. you are excused this time.

So I reckon that Geelong would be a pretty good place to be living around about now - the atmosphere would be a happy one . Sure you will be sick of seeing Blue and White, but if the Cats take the flag again - why not join in the celebrations.
I don't even need to leave home to join in the celebrations, I can hear it all from here. I finish work at 9am Sunday morning, I reckon they'll be in fine form by the time I get home. (presuming they win that is)
I've even moved the Cats fridge magnet that Des's inlaws "accidentally" left on my fridge, from the back to the front of the fridge.

So far it's nice and quiet.... So far it's nice and quiet.....
177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out.... Des' Weblog
You'll be hating them more now. The second flag is almost in the bag.
Not necessarily - Hawthorn won't be easybeats (assuming they win tomorrow night).
I don't really understand why people hate Geelong so much.

Final score flattered the Cats tonight IMHO. The Dogs really applied the pressure and made the Cats earn it. Poor kicking for goal was what really let the Dogs down.
Cats weren't their usual crisp selves, but I think alot of that was due to the pressure from the Dogs - so if the Hawks/Saints can play with the same intensity and convert their opportunities, there's a flag there for the taking (although the Cats will definitely start favourite).
I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Haha, it was Port's flag for the taking last year as well??

Scary thing is Mike that they were flat, and the Dogs were very good, yet Geelong still thumped them.
Bulldogs desperately need a reasonable large forward to take the next step.

Now I'm sick of helicopters, flying over closed training sessions, flying down reporters who can't be bothered driving down the Melb road.
Tomorrow is open training so I'm betting there'll be more people here than on match day!
