    Dean Cox to Sydney??

I heard on radio SEN this morning that Dean Cox was seen talking to Roosy at a restaurant this week in Darling Harbour. There was apparently a very in depth conversation taking place. It couldnt be that he will leave the cheats and come to us and replace spida could it? He would be an unbelievable acquisition. I rekon it could have something to do with Roos wanting a bit of info on kerr and cousins (hopefully not the latter!)

Would only have to offer up picks 1,2,3 and 4 for cox I would think. Simple.

I think your probably more correct in the latter suggestion that Roosy may be getting a bit of inside info on the other two.

Mate, would love to have Cox in the red and white.

Cox and Kerr added to Kirk, McVeigh, Goodes and Bolton in the middle. That would be the best in the game.

Wouldnt take him, DJ has been doing a awesome job and ive heard he gets very happy with himself easily (reason why he is not captain). Ruck stocks are ok, with Currie, JW, and Jake Orreal as potentials.

We need quick mids rather than another ruckmen, stil anything that could help get either Kerr or Cousins to Syd would help...

Might not have a forward or backline left after paying for them though

You would not take DEAN COX? You have to be kidding right Best ruckmen in the land! Sure Jolly is good, but if he was a backup to Cox you would have the best ruck combo in the league.

look i would take dean cox in a heartbeat, but we are ok in the ruck atm, i would take him BUT preferences lie elsewhere. The best ruck combo in the land doesnt necessairily win u games (look at Freo and WCE this year). We need quick mids desperatly! Hope that clears it up.

Is he the best ruckman in the land?

At one stage this year you could of argued that Jolly was better. For the latter part of the year you could argue Sandilands was.

Cox's days as the number 1 ruckman in the land have expired IMHO.

                        I smell another Spida....

No way, if you asked anyone bar Sydney and Freo fans, all would have said Cox was way better than Jolly and Sandi throughout 2008. It's laughable that there are fans here that wouldn't consider taking on Cox, discounting how much he would actually cost to bring here.

The benefit of Cox is not his rucking ability. He is NOT the best ruckman in the AFL. He is however one of the only ruckman in the league that can double as a midfielder.
