Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Whatever.... Point is, I think there's more down side in Cox now than there has been before. His reign at the top is coming to an end as it inevitabley must. He'll still play good footy for a few more years yet but he won't be the all conquering ruck man he has been.Comment

I don't think that's any different to before. There have always been other good ruckmen. I see nothing to suggest that Cox won't be one of the top ruckmen in the competition for some time yet.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Yeah I agree with this. Cox is the prototype for the modern ruckman and will be the best in the business for the next 3 seasons at least."As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk

Do you reckon? I could see every club might want a Cox but I don't see any facsimiles in those playing off in the semis. I think most would settle for someone who wins his share of ruck taps and gives a presence around the ground. Still, time will tell...Kreuzer and the much hyped Natanui do look more in the Cox mould.Comment

One name....Natnoui
Have all you people seen him in the U19's....OMG...and he's from WA
Provided he doesnt get injured he will be the Michael Jordan of the AFL.
I don't reckon Cox is going anywhere (obviously), but by the smug attitude of Worsfold he is looking at Natnoui/Cox combo plus a few good high end picks in the mid/forward line.
As much as I hate to say it...if that happens ...look out!"We talked five times. I called him twice, and he called me twice."   :D
