Hopefully he hasn't done a Benny and gone a year too long.

I have faith that he has a bit left in the tank

I fear it might be one too many but we'll wait and see.

Well my nephew will be delighted that his confirmation name has another year's currency.

Good luck to him - hard to imagine we're a better side without him.

That's because we're not, despite what some on here might think. He's not the player he was, be he is still WELL within out best 22.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

Says who? Not trying to stir you up, well not too much, but that seems like a very arrogant comment.

That perhaps says something about our 'best 22'.

He is right now but I'm not convinced that he will be midway through 2009. And at some stage we have to bite the bullet and look to the future.

                    Spot on!!!

Can our team best the best in the league???

NO, for two years running we scape into the finals, to lose by large margins.

Time to trade, before out players lose their value and the new teams start taking the best recruits.

Good on him, i got no issues.
He wanted to play on, the club agrees, 1 more year cant hurt that much. Besides any one expecting drastic list changes next year would be disappointed.
He must be aware he could have a similar season to Mathews.

now it's arrogant to agree with roos' and the selection committee?

barry has never come close to being dropped when more than half fit. he's lost a fair bit by age and rule changes, but he's still given a job on a top-three forward each week.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

                            Good news.

Hope we can find a full back during 2009 so Leo can play his time out in a pocket.

Glad to see him in the team... As with Crouch.

But only on the proviso that we drop them to the reserves as soon as their form drops off.
