ROK - Re signs with swans for 4 years. (Confirmed)
so basically I hit the player (s) up re why the swans didn't resign him and they reckon its the clubs fault for not doing this mid season...
honestly I just dont think I was being lied to only because it was as casual as a conversation can get...but nothing is signed yet and I would say by what and how I was told- swans cough up similar moula and he will stay
Damn Ryan O'Keefe doesn't have an S in his name so i can substitute it with a $.
How about Ryan O'K????
177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out.... Des' Weblog
They were really laying into O'Keefe on SEN this morning. The general consensus is that he is expecting more than he is worth.
He's starting to remind me of Tommy Gun from Rocky V. Trained by Rocky (Roos) and everythings all kosher then Duke the promoter (his new management team) flung some bull@@@@ in front of him saying he is worth alot more and he abandons ship.
Doubt this will end up in a street fight though.

O' Keefe will stay with Sydney. I'm confident of that.
This whole thing smacks of management testing the waters to see how much they can get out of the Swans. Talk of ROK 'wanting' to return to Melbourne is media drivel. He'll re-sign with us this week.
Damn that Sorcerer! Twenty gold pieces and I'm wankered on rohypnol!
The Swans should send him packing if that's what he's asking for. As good as he is, he's not a key forward and not an elite midfielder. The Swans should use the money to pay for Kerr.
As I've said before, I think ROK is shafting the club by the way he's going about this. I previously thought we should offer him the captaincy as a carrot for him to stay but by not being 100% loyal he's proven he's not captaincy or even leadership group material. If he stays, he'll have a lot of work to do to regain the trust of Kirk and co.
