Has the draw been done already?

      Isn't it a bit early?
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Draft fixtures have been issued to the clubs with the leaks appearing in the media as per each year.

          Thanks for that Matty.
I thought it was a bit early.

I'd like us to play the poos & wees in Melbourne ... that's our guaranteed "away" trip every year. Who do I write to to make sure that happens?

Hopefully only 1 trip to each of Adelaide and Perth and to play the Crows just once.

Are we Collingwood all of a sudden???

I'm curious to see just how good the wobbles get it next year.

I think last year's 17 games in Melbourne was a record.

If you think about it, the MINIMUM number of games Collingwood is ever likely to play in Melbourne is 16 (WCE, Freo, PA, Adel, Syd, Bris) as no Collingwood game against another Melbourne club is ever going to be scheduled for Canberra or Tasmania. I don't see what the big deal is.

                    Yeah, I agree.
All of the clubs want to play Collingwood in Melbourne because they draw a crowd. Can't have it both ways.

Call me old-fashioned, etc.., but can we go back to the concept of everyone playing everyone once in the first 15 rounds?

If we must have this new-fangled draw can we play the Pies, Adelaide and Geelong just once each?

Yep, they've gone back to that format for next year

NRL draw came out this season before their GF.

Hopefully they don't screw up the 2009 draw like they did for this year's. Is it really that hard to make all teams face each other once before Round 16?
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore
