I think Pass is an active choice to not pick a player but can still pick later, but N/A is not allowed to select any more. That's my understanding anyway?

Well according to this Canberra Times article, our 2009 rookie list has 6 spots:

That would explain why Klemke and Breust were available to Essendon and Hawthorn respectively. And would explain why we selected Pyke when we could have listed him outside the normal rookie list.

N/A always means not available or Not Applicable

My guess is "not Available" ...ie big, big trouble at AFL as someone mislays Sydney's Priority picks and doesn't remove Klemke and Bruest from the draft.
