Mickey O in doubt for Round 1?

    Possibly.

This story says he's "several weeks away" from resuming full training and quotes Longmire admitting there's a question mark.

Swans veteran in doubt for season start - realfooty.com.au

I suppose if any player has to start training late, it ought to be MOL, who has the lightest training load of any Swan.

The story also has comments by Kirk on the third captain, ie, Roosy hasn't made up his mind yet.

Mick has started slowly in recent seasons, so they shouldn't rush him in if he's underdone.

For all ROK's many talents, I wouldn't have picked him as a captain (with or without the big pay cheque). He's just not that inspiring a bloke to listen to.

But hey, they're all just minding the seat for Bevo, aren't they Connolly?

they should have operated on MOL last season, realistically we weren't going to topple the top sides, so would have been better to get him done sooner. Bit of a miss from usually an on the ball medico staff

We want more than a "good ordinary footballer" as the captain of the Swans. It is NOT for any mug that gets in the selectors good books.

you'd think that it will be a player who gets the gig - but as our coach and some of his followers are men of innovation - dont be surprised if this years left of centre idea involves Roosy's kids - one in the LG and the other Captain by proxy!
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................
