That was my gripe with the call too, but thought it was about what you'd expect for a new caller with some nerves.

Though for a laugh you guys should check out some of the posts about her on 'Footy Fourth Estate', the media board on Bigfooty, Ron Burgundy from Anchorman comes to mind

(Not my favourite movie, partly because of Will Ferrell who most of the time I don't 'get', but it had its moments)

Thought she was good, very competent & professional, clearly knew the players and gave a solid call. My only issue was her excruciating Ocker accent.

And she didn't seem to feel compelled to fill the gaps with boring bulldust like "THE OX!!" or "Lynchy". And she didn't indulge in childish umpire-bashing. And she didn't pretend to know the rules. In fact, the more I think about it, the better she sounds!
Hard to believe that Channel Ten has finally come up with a good idea.
        My thoughts exactly.
I hope Ch10 continue with her.
Much better than bloody Robbie Walls

I didn't hear her commentary but I believe she was an ABC radio journalist and has commentated on a couple of games for radio. I remember hearing an interview with her last season just prior to her first radio call.
          Bring it on!

Didn't like listening to her. Would rather they stuck with the blokes.

Channel 10 and it'll have to be Lane and Walls with the tag team Cousins wankfest. I'll no doubt be cringing following their commentary, just like his "comeback" game against the Swans in 2007...
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore
