After that performance against the Saints, I think the experts are right this time.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

The first quarter was so promising... i was wondering how useless those journos were not rating the swans.. but as each quarter progress.. it seems they do know their stuff...

i hope this is part of the slow start thing.. and we can come back.. but our attack seems so one dimesional.. with only Hall... as the main target...

As long as we refuse to run, we have no hope. For the 2nd and 3rd quarters, we were stagnant, nobody working to get to space. It was terrible. Worse than I've complained about in previous seasons.

        I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Speaking of the so-called experts, I found it amusing watching the game that we looked 'rejuvenated' in the first quarter, yet by the last quarter we were back to being the oldest list in the AFL...

I think it was Robert Walls. He also called for Barry Hall to go into the ruck in the last quarter. Maybe we need to start a thread for Walls-isms (kind of like the opposite of the Commeti-isms thread).

Walls' suggestion of BBB going into the ruck, in instances like last night, when he almost got frost-bite, seemed reasonable to me...what do others think? I reckon ANY (bizarre) movements/options would've been better than the stagnancy.
Could someone who was at the match please comment on Goodesy? Did he have as bad a night as it seemed on TV?

You can pretty much set your watch on it. We are getting smashed and...Walls will suggest Hall goes into the ruck. Silence in commentary box, Walls craps on about it for another 5 minutes. Everyone else focusing on the game.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

Too much handballing and not enough run and kicking in the backline hurt us in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. I thought the Swans midfielders have learned not to kick to Hall when he has 2-3 defenders on him.
