    Meredith for Barlow

    We need another forward option aswell because Ryan is at his best when he plays up the field if you keep him in the 50 to kick a couple of goals his effectiveness is greatley reduced. Either White or Johnston at FF with Grundy the 3rd tall, Ryan playing up the ground and Bazza being bazza (dropping marks)

    For this to happen either Pyke or Johnston would come in for Crouch

                        But to answer your question... why not "run him out of the back line"..."if he can run 100m so quickly"? Because he'd have to bounce the ball 9 times during his 100m dash. I watched him warming up around the boundary line at the Crows practice match. Running at less than 1/4 pace he tried to bounce the ball twice and both times it escaped him to dribble off to the side (he gave up after that).
                        Also, odds are his 100 burst would be in a straight line. Might need Leo to teach him to bounce around like a pin-ball to stop him being caught (though it looks like it'd take half the NRL players tackling him simultaneously to get him to ground once he got a head of steam up - he's one big unit!).
