Not from what I saw - but I did go to the fridge on a number of occassions to refill my wine glass during the second and third quarters - but from the score line I doubt it got down there much at all.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

You are correct ... we lost it at the HALF-FORWARD line.

      Disgraceful.

        Our forwards ... sheesh.

EVERY TIME THE BALL WENT NEAR THE FORWARD LINE WE LOST POSSESSION.

That's wrong Roosey. Do the right thing by the team and get bloody Horse back where he belongs.
Annie, you know I love your passion for the team, however I want to disagree on one point, the mid field, with the exception of McVeigh and the ruckmen, were pathetic. The backs were great. the forwards were so-so, but the midfield were less than pathetic.

Missing a half forward you say? hmmmmmmmmmm
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Yep, moneybags, amongst others made the St Kilda backs look good.

The only thing I had against the midfielders was there insistence on HAND BALLING INTO TRAFFIC.

That's something that's just gotta stop.

In the second and third quarters the ball basically seemed to not go past the centreline. We would have had very few forward 50 entries at all and the ones we did have were rubbish.

It was our midfield and running half backs that seemed to be letting us down not the half forwards. It was difficult to tell on the television why we kept getting picked off along the centre and half back lines. Can anyone at the game give some feedback as to what was going on (ie were Saints putting a big zone across the centre).

I was at the game, sitting on the wing. That's why I made the comment about the half forward and centre lines. Yes the Aints had an 18 man flood going, but if you move the ball quickly enough then you can beat it. That's what happened in the first qrtr.

Looks like we need a half forward who can mark a ball or hold the ball in ,kick a decent ball or create opportunities. We had a guy like that once.

We still have one ... but he doesn't "really" want to play for us.

I wonder if the players have lost confidence in the team and each other and are reverting to surivival mode.
Jude Bolton,ROK and Buccy often have a pannicky look on their faces as they take their time for everyone to be manned up before they pass the pill.

Maybe we could start a fund for ROK.

$1 for each effective kick, $5 for contested mark or I-50, $10 for goal.

He loses $10 for every missed shot, so we should get our cash back.

IMO, they've done a lot to get duck butt back into the "fold" - tv ads, leadership group, radio ads, etc. etc. Really? Who are they trying to kid? It's not nuclear physics ... if you put your hand up to trade, you don't "really" want to be playing for the team, do you? They should have just bitten the financial/trading bullet and left him out to take wherever was available on the psd (i.e. the scrap heap one). Instead they rewarded him with more money and prestige - yet he plays like his heart just isn't in it.

Davo mentioned wanting to be traded and they sent him to Coventry.

As for the fund ... I've had a fund running on Bazza ever since he became the $2 million dollar man. (It was the week after he signed this deal that his performance started to lack the intensity he was playing with the week prior to signing the deal - conspiracy theory ... you betcha!!)
                                $2000 for every behind ... $5000 for a clanger.
The money was coming out of his contract.
The way he's playing, by the end of the year he's gunna have to sell his house to pay us back.

Blind Bazza under lights is not a pretty sight.
