Grundy and Bird were okay. Aside from that, I'm struggling to think of positives.

Shaw did alright, Kirk and Goodes got a fair bit of the ball but weren't at their best. B2 did a good job on Riewoldt, LRT got plenty of the ball but had his hands full with Kosi.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

Yeah, I think we're going to struggle against sides with quality tall forwards. Kozi and Riewoldt weren't totally dominant, but they opened a lot of opportunities for the smaller players, like Rat Face.

The other thing I noticed about tonight is the number of times players were selfish. Standing and pointing. Visibly complaining about teamates not presenting. Hall took a pot shot from a tight angle when Grundy was free. Barlow not shepherding and instead waiting for the hand off.

I wonder if the players have lost confidence in the team and each other and are reverting to surivival mode.

We were awful but at least it was only a 15 point loss in the end - don't reckon St Kilda are all that great and will also get beaten by the quicker teams

I think the 15 points flattered us - we were very ordinary

If Barlow plays again im officially never going for the swans again. He is like watching a 12 year old playing against his 18 year old neighbour. Bird is a genuine future star, so much poise and ability to get out of traffic. LRT was good White looked ok good second efforts, Shaw had a dip and Teddy was good(but was on his own all night).Mcveigh was good around the stoppages as the go too man.Bolton was good as always in defence. Goodes needs to lift(sorrry Annie). Grundy had his best game i thought. Bevan got absolutely towled up by Milne.
The edge is not the limit, It's just the starting point...

Barlow is simply a lazy soft footballer. Should spend the year in the magoos and then shipped off.

*Yawn* same old start. Nothing to worry about. Much.

Good to see we got the margin down to a respectable number.

Barlow would be first in the chopping block, but who should replace him?

O'Dwyer, at least he'll have a go. Not a natural forward or goalkicker but he'll put pressure on the opposing defender when not in possession.

Got back from the game a short while ago. Dont know that I even want to read through this thread. I cannot understand how we could be so good in the first quarter and so woeful for the next 2.5.

As for Ray Chamberlian - he is a putrid, visious little midget who isnt fit to umpire little league. Clearly BOG for the Saints. Now my most hated umpire.

Sigh, its a long trip back to Sydney after that performance.

Barlow was a waste of space. very soft. Goodes was missing for most of the game. Final score makes it look closer than it really was.

                                Another tough game next week!
