    Since Lyon moved to StKilda, I have said numerous times that he was the architect of the Swans negative style of play. Now he has gone, I think it's time for us to move on too.

        The end is not too far away...

        Here's Roos confirming he won't renew his contract after 2011.

        Roos on last stint as coach - RFNews - realfooty.com.au

        If the second AFL team goes ahead as planned, the departure of Roos, most of our star players, plus the compromised drafts will mean a whole new era for the Swans in 2012.

            It may be unrealistic, but you'd hope we'd be well on the way to being a top 4 side with our 'new' team by 2012. Hopefully by then the likes of Vespremi, Meredith and Johnston will have 50+ games to their name and are established AFL players. Kirk, Hall, Leo et al will be long gone.

              But it is what happens between now and through 2010 to see the results in2012
